Any tips on getting a GC in to do major repairs?

ask him for referances and then start calling around.i think the condo ociation would hire the best ,an for the job.they are pretty picky on who they hire and they do get backround checks so i would not worry about the person they hired for the job.you know how these people are they even need to aprove paint color on the outside of the condos for god sakes so i would trust them on who they hired.you can look for your own contractor but make sure he has good referances and ask him for names of people he has done work for and call those people and see what kind of job he has done this is your home you have every right.
