Accused of stealing what can we do?
Okay this is a serious question. My bloke has quite an important job incharge of hundreds of staff in retail. He is a diabectic last week he got called to an armed robbery. He was feeling ill as he hadn't had breakfast he needed a sandwich but the tills weren't working the manager said have it an l will pay for it when the tills are back up. Next Day the manager is told by a staff member that they saw my bloke take the sandwich and not pay and unless my bloke reinstates someone he sacked they will report him. the manager said he had paid for the sandwich my bloke rang Hr and has now been suspened for alleged theft and breach of shopping procedure and so has the manager who got him the sandwich. Does anyone have any idea of the law on this. He is devastated his reputation is destroyed. He is a bloke who always works to the letter and he is in pieces. Does he have a case as he needed the sandwich he felt ill and is diabectic.
