Laid off now what do I do?

Hope things get better for you. I guess not having a family to support is one less financial worry. Maybe you need to talk to your bank. Also, maybe the relevant government department for your location might have some advice or istance (example link US Government). Maybe you could share a house and share the costs of rent, utilities and other bills etc? Good luck.
