Gandalf meets Dumbledore?

hi i was just thinking about this. all this harry potter things, they happen around 1995 or something like that. and in Lotr it is around 3019 or something. Gandalf has been around the middle earth for 5000 years, so it is possible that they could have met, become good friends. That would be too good if JK mentions Gandalf, or if she would have both of them as a surprise in the book together, that would be too good, Dumbledore and Gandalf against Voldemort. Too good, what are you views on that???? Gandalf probably was involved in the World war II along with Dumbledore. pleae leave ur views...
