Spiritual Awakening?

I think we are experiencing a spiritual awakening in this land. I think the consciousness of people is beginning to question the outside influences we've allowed to dominate and base our system of beliefs on. We are looking inward and finding that what we were so sure of in the past is nothing more than a empty repetition from the generation before us. I think people are beginning to gain the courage to ask "why" and not be afraid to stand up and question something. I think as a race of human beings we are moving into an arena where we are ready to know the truth, where as before, it was just not something we could handle at the time. I think we are in a very important time in history concerning our collective consciousness. Any comments?
