Did any one else do this?water breaking?

I was shopping with my mom and next thing fluid trickled through my underwear and down my leg.I was/am only 22 weeks and worried so went to the hospital in case my waters broke,waited for over 2 hours for a doctor and they said it was just discharge.they weren't annoyed or anything but i feel kind of embarred like I wasted heir time and they had to do a pap smear.but thank god everything is okay...did anyone else do this..and do you think I made too much of a big deal about it?I feel kind of bad because the other people in the ward were like in labour :(
