Spiritual Awakening?

I think we are experiencing a spiritual awakening in this land. I think the consciousness of people is beginning to question the outside influences we've allowed to dominate and base our system of beliefs on. We are looking inward and finding that what we were so sure of in the past is nothing more than a empty repetition from the generation before us. I think people are beginning to gain the courage to ask "why" and not be afraid to stand up and question something. I think as a race of human beings we are moving into an arena where we are ready to know the truth, where as before, it was just not something we could handle at the time. I think we are in a very important time in history concerning our collective consciousness. Any comments?

OK, so I want to buy some sort of wipe or pad that I kind use nightly to remove makeup that wont dry out my skin. I'd have to say move close to your friends. Not that being with family isn't important, but in my experience it is much easier to fall out of touch with friends with family. It's like you go your separate ways and talk now and then, but eventually you lose track of them and grow apart. Sad. With family you will always be in touch cuz you have no other choice lol. At least the family all lives in one spot so you can see them all at once when you visit them..

i feel that way too . i could tell you something like what everyone says--go to a therapist, remember you have a lot to live for! blah blah but i know that doesn't work. i also get the feeling no one except my boyfriend would miss me if i died. but you just have to find one thing i guess, one thing to keep you alive. Also you have to change your expectations about shallow people around you. They don't usually care about anyone but themselves, so they're usually too busy or superficial to notice a quiet person. and because they dont have the patience or ability to listen, you can't expect much from them. one day you'll find someone who does. for now, change your expectaions about the common people out there. you can't expect much from them.

I find that when I'm watching the games on poor-quality streams on my computer, I almost always follow the puck. But when I'm at the game, I have the luxury to follow everything else that's going on. Like to see the plays develop and take careful notice of who's on the ice. But I must admit, I don't take much notice of the line matchups, because I'm afraid I'll miss a goal being scored or something like that. If you're talking about parts made using the lost foam process, then no, they should not absorb salt water. Porosity is an issue, but when needed the parts are impregnated with resin to seal them. Typically it's not required. Outboards have lost foam blocks, exhausts, etc. so the block is always full of water while the engine is running, and the exhaust housing is under water. The gearcases are usually die cast. Anyway, short answer would be not true.

Accused of stealing what can we do?

Okay this is a serious question. My bloke has quite an important job incharge of hundreds of staff in retail. He is a diabectic last week he got called to an armed robbery. He was feeling ill as he hadn't had breakfast he needed a sandwich but the tills weren't working the manager said have it an l will pay for it when the tills are back up. Next Day the manager is told by a staff member that they saw my bloke take the sandwich and not pay and unless my bloke reinstates someone he sacked they will report him. the manager said he had paid for the sandwich my bloke rang Hr and has now been suspened for alleged theft and breach of shopping procedure and so has the manager who got him the sandwich. Does anyone have any idea of the law on this. He is devastated his reputation is destroyed. He is a bloke who always works to the letter and he is in pieces. Does he have a case as he needed the sandwich he felt ill and is diabectic.

What do you do when a parent uses ADHD as an excuse for a child's bad behavior?

My dad and stepmom adopted a boy from Russia 5 years ago. It is my dad's 5th child, and my stepmom's 1st. All of my father's children from his first marriage are over the age 17, and my adopted brother is 6. Over the last several years, my brother has had multiple incidents of violence, like kicking, biting, hitting and hitting with items (like shovels). He's been kicked out of all of his preschools for disturbing the other kids. He would talk incessantly and was openly defiant about everything. Right now he's violent, doesn't listen, and most requests result in full fledged tantrums. I know that he has ADHD, and I certainly respect that it makes him more impulsive and makes it defficult for him to listen, but I also know that his mom is the first person to blame someone else for incident's with him. When I babysat him we were playing catch and he didn't catch the ball so it hit him (soft nerf ball) and he told her I threw it at his face and she actually entertained the idea that a 21 year old would actually throw a ball at a 5 year olds face. So, when he acts up, and when he if freaking out or getting in trouble at school, is it really because his ADHD isn't under control or could i be that she doesn't discipline him? I feel like every time I comment on his out of control behavior, it's because of his "condition" or his medicines. I know other kids with ADHD and their parents don't blame the condition for their every lash out.

I was diagnose with ocd 14 years ago. There are different areas of ocd. I think they call it a rainbow of obsessive behavior. Like contamination issues, magical thinking, the impulse to touch something or count something. it sounds to me like you MIGHT have a problem with the kind called "checking". for instance I would lock my front door walk away and then have to come back to the door to check again. and then I'd drive down the road a bit and then decide that maybe I had accidently unlocked the door when I checked it by shaking it lose. and I did check the appliances as long as I had to come back I would come inside and check things like that. I just wondered when this checking started? do you remember if something happened to make you feel unsafe? something that happened to you that would make you worry about it happening again? or maybe you saw something on tv or something happened to someone you know and that's when it started? If these things you do are getting in the way of your everyday life, if you panic if you can't check these things like you do, and you feel that you are being 'forced' by your own mind to do them, it MIGHT be ocd. the good news is the sooner you get help the better you will be and the sooner you'll feel calmer. so much is known about ocd these days that there is meds and therapy to make things A LOT better. when I was going through my stuff , most medical doctors had never heard of ocd. and even some psychiatrist didn't really know much. but there has been meds that you can take and even just therapy if you're not too bad. the sooner you get help though the better. then you won't have the 'habits' of checking so ingrained into your mind.

My wife was in an accident, car totalled, we received a check from insurance. We are putting our ceiling at $14K for a used car. I've heard if you are buying in cash that you usually have more leverage than someone buying through financing. My 2 year old daughter fell out of shopping cart. Are these symptoms normal?

On Sunday my 2 year old daughter fell out of a shopping cart. I had my back turned and she stood up and lost her balance and fell out backwards and landed on the back of her head. She experienced extreme sleepiness, loss of balance, bad headaches (still has them) and vomiting. We took her to the ER and they did a CT scan and said it was normal so they sent her home and gave me a list of things I needed to watch for. They said she has a concussion though. She is acting fine now we just have to give her Tylenol every so often for headaches. Yesterday I noticed a large swollen bump on her head where she landed. It's not hard. It feels like it's full of liquid and it's "squishy". On her discharge papers it said swelling could happen. I just didn't know if that was normal.

I make $40,000 a year, I'm not rich and probably never will be, but I'm not whining about how cutting taxes for the rich is "not fair" because when you think about it the rich guy is actually spending way more in taxes then the poor guys are, and that money isn't just going to him, its going to the economy and helping me out by getting my country out of a recession. Liberals are still touting early 20th century progressivism and painting the rich as greedy and immoral, but the rich are people like anyone else, if you step back and look at the situation logically any argument against cutting taxes on the rich doesn't make sense.

ok, i recentaly got a baby iguana (on saturday) and i have been handling it regularly so it knows im it's owner and so it can get comfortable around me, today was teh first day i took it out of it's cage for more that just holding it, i took it in the bathroom after i made sure it was "iguana proof" when i set it on the floor it didnt move just watched me, then i picked it up and let it climb up my shirt (thats wat it seemed it wanted to do) it started to climb toards my hair (my hair is red, if that has anything to do with it) it did seem to lick my shirt a few times, every time i tried to take it off my shirt it would want to go back, it was trying to climb all the way up, towards my face, i would have let it but i dont know wat it would have done, it didnt seem to be acting agressive seemed a little curious though, wat was it going to do

I mistakenly let my son, who claimed to know what he was doing, download Window Ultimate 7 onto my computer. Well, needless to say, he downloaded onto the wrong disc! Problems with the face makeup that I am using?

okay, I am having problems with the face makeup that I am using. When applying the makeup I first put on cream then i use a face sponge to apply the liquid foundation, then once finished that i apply a foundation powder. The problem that I am having is i find around the mouth area becomes an orange color compared to the rest of my face. My first thought was I am using the wrong colors for my skin tone so I went for lighter shades but I am still having the same problems and can't figure out why. Also i find after wearing it for an hour or so the make up wheres away around my mouth so thers a white ring almost around it! HELP!!

I know you want to spend time with your boyfriend and that its rough that he isn't around all that much, but there's no need to get upset with him over working. As of now I am entering my sopre year as a strategic communications-advertising major. I had a talk with my dad last night about my career plans. i just met this guy at the beggining of the year. hes in my algebra cl, and we used to talk like every once in a while if hed say something to me, but then we got new seats and he sits by me, and he starts talking to me more. before cl i usually see him kinda looking at me out of the corner of my eye, but idk, its probably just what i want to believe? but it looks like it. and i dont usually say anything to him, so he'll randomly be like "wooow" as in a 'thanks for saying hi to me' sarcastic way. and he does that on facebook a lot tooo. and sometimes after the bell rings he'll stand up really tall and just tower over me and joke around about how short i am compared to him. once on facebook when i was feeling sick he kept telling me to feel better, and when he had to get off he said "im sorry im leaving but i gtg, bye, ill see you tomorrow" and i told him i probably wasnt gonna go to school the next day, so he said "sorry, hope you feel better, good night :) hope to see you at school tomorrow lol night" i didnt go to school the next day, and then the day after that i ped him a few times before school in the hall, im not positive, but i swear to god, everytime i ped him id look up and wed lock eyes. he gave me a gummy bear and no one else, except his bestfriend, and he was playing with my phone and he changed his name to "*his name here* is Y !!!!!" and my friend kept saying can i see your phone? to him and he kept telling her no, and she offered to let him see her phone but he said no to that toooo, then gave me my phone back. before fall break we just did a project instead of actual work and when we were putting stuff away i walked in fron of him and he joked around that i was in his way, like he alwaaaays jokes around with me. a few days ago in his facebook status he put something about kinda liking some girl, he didnt put a name just "her" and he wouldnt say who it was to anyone. then at school the next day he didnt say anything to me. i decided not to say anything, he seemed like he was upset or something. but i heard part of him and his friend who sits in front of him talking, his friend: "whos too good for you?!" i couldnt really hear what he was saying, but eventually his friend was trying to get him to say who he liked, and he kept saying he couldnt say it, so his friend said hed get it from someone else. they 'argued' about it for a little longer, then they got quiet. or i spaced out, cant rememberrrr! then he did his "wooow" thing to me again and then the 3 of us were talking, and after the bell rang we stood up and just him and i were talking, then i forget, but neither of us said anything and he turned away to get his stuff, so i walked over to my friend, and i heard his voice call after me "okay, so youre just gonna walk away from me?" and i turned around and he was looking at me, and weve been texting almost all night, and flirting a little, and he sent me some forward that started with "i love you, loser:)" and that if you sent it to ten people something that would make you happy would happen in an hour.... idk, i dont think he likes me but some people said he probably does and is scared, but i just dont know...... :\

Ok, so last night was one of those nights where you randomly click a channel and a movie is on. I didn't know the name of it at all I just know I had seen one part of it a long time back. Hand-washing machine washable clothes?

There is 14 inches of snow on the ground, the plows just went by leaving a mountain of snow behind the parking lot, and our car isn't going anywhere, including the laundromat for a while. We both have work Monday (we walk to work, so no it doesn't matter that the car is stuck), but we need to wash our work clothes, which we normally do on the weekend. They are all machine-washable, but I will need to hand-wash them this weekend. When I wash them at the laundromat, I use a half cup of baking soda per load (I am allergic to detergents, and the baking soda works just fine). Since I will be hand-washing them in the bathtub, how much baking soda will I need to use, and how should I wash them? Should I be just as gentle as with our regularly hand washed clothes, or can I be a little rougher ringing them out so they will dry faster? Also, do I need to find a flat surface to dry a week worth of clothes on, or can I hang them to dry since they're machine washable? Also, is their any way to keep them from stretching due to air drying? I am very petite and even the smallest sizes I can find hang on me to the point they look a few sizes to big, even after shrinking them in the dryer. With hand washing, I'm afraid they will not be professional looking at all because they will not shrink at all and will be baggy on me, any ideas for getting them to dry as "small" as possible?

I have a part time job and attend a local college. I commute there and back everyday because it is cheaper. Daycare Blues...Need Advice from Providers?

I run a small baby daycare with only 3 babies. Had them since they were 4 months old..now 2 years old. I was doing hourly pay rate but all of a sudden, parents got comfortable and making their own schedules. One had weekly schedule with M thru Fri. from 6:30am to 6pm. Ok , I got up early to prepare for the baby Monday Morning and the parent did not show up until 10am. This is not the first time it has happened. SOmetimes, they get off work early but decide to leave the baby a couple of more hours, lets say a total of 12 hours, cuz they want to go to dinner or shop. Ok, thats fine and dandy but when I am scheduled with 2 other babies and have to work around their schedules in order not to be bombarded with all 3 all day, a set schedule is very important. Plus, they only end up paying me $12 more. WOW..so now I started a weekly rate contract. No matter what , you pay that fee at the end of the week but they have to state if they are part time or full time care. Now they are mad at me..hmmm...what do you think.

Ford doesn't make a Prelude, but Honda did. If it has an overdrive on and you push it, you will not have O/D when it says O/D off. The car will default when you turn the engine off. Only push the 'O/D off' on if you're going up a hill and the transmission is continuously shifting from 3rd to 4th and back again. This function is primarily there to keep your transmission from wearing out or overheating. If you normally drive on flat land, leave it alone.

It started innocently enough. We took my wife's great aunt to her weekly bingo night. First, the old ladies laughed at us for only buying 2 cards each. But then, one old lady tried to blind me with Ben Gay and another was biting me on my elbow. Well I must have swung around a serious right hook, cause I clipped the Ben Gay woman in the ribs ( I still had 1 good eye ), and caught Mildred square on the chin. For a few weeks everytime I try to go into Yahoo Chat I get into a room which in the room list said 48 people but when I get in the room I can only see about 8 and most of these are bots.
