How can i DJ a wedding?

My brothers friend is getting married later this year, and he asked me to DJ the wedding for him... i have some ideas on how to do this, what to say, what equipment i should use, ect. but i need some tips, the only events that i have DJ'd before are 4th of july parties, memorial day and so fourth... so this is a pretty drastic change for me...
