Should I go live with my mom or stay with my dad?

My dad is in the air force and has been for 25 years. He's gonna retire in march and has bought a house in California. My parents split when I was five and I have had a south Korean stepmom for about 10 years now. My dad and stepmom are very strict an found me from everything especially from basketball, the one thing I love to do. I always get into fights with my stepmom and my dad said the next time we have a big fight again, I'm goin to live with my mom. Now I have always had this dream to become a pro basketball player but I feel like I'm being held back by my stepmom. However i am a straight A student. Right now I'm visiting my mom for the whole summer and have realized that I am really happy here. I have some good friends over here and my mom let's me do things and doesn't ground me like my dad and stepmom does. I am gonna be a junior in high school and I am really stuck between livin' with my mom or dad.
