Flying V vs. Stratocaster vs. SG vs. Les Paul?

This is really about personal preference. It also helps to know what genre you are looking for. I personally love the sg and the les paul if you are getting a real gibson one. They tend to sound good on more amps than the strat. The les paul also has more by/low midrange sound. In other words, it's got ! Keep in mind that the les paul is significantly heavier than the other two. The sg is really nice for cleaner sounds and lighter distortions, it can really twinkle. And the strat is of course the clic, however I have never been crazy about them.
